1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for or using the Digimenu demonstration site, you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms are established to clarify the non-commercial nature of this application. If you do not agree to these terms, you are requested to cease using the showcase.

2. Description of Service

Digimenu simulates a web-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that allows users to:

• Create and customize interactive digital restaurant menus.
• Generate QR codes linking directly to a simulated public menu.
• Demonstrate a real-time order queue with audio notifications on the staff dashboard.
• Export order slips and simulate business settings adjustments.

No real business activity, delivery logistics, or food preparation services are performed by this application.

3. Showcase Accounts & Security

Users may register a test account or use pre-seeded demo slots to evaluate the system. You agree that:

• You will not use sensitive, real-world passwords for this application.
• Your mock data, including categories, prices, logos, and custom menus, will be publicly accessible.
• Test accounts and simulated data are subject to deletion or resets.

4. Service Access & Plans

In this version of the application, all billing, payments, and premium upgrade structures have been completely removed. The service is provided entirely free for evaluation and demonstration:

• Free of Charge: There are no premium tiers, transaction fees, or monthly subscription charges.
• Full Feature Access: All menu customization, category management, real-time order tracking, and QR code generation are fully available to all registered test accounts.
• No Payment Required: Do not enter real credit card numbers, GCash details, or financial accounts. No payment options exist on the platform.

5. Diner & Merchant Relationship

Because this is a showcase project, no real food is sold or delivered. Any customer orders and transactions are simulated. We do not act as an official Point of Sale (POS) system. Under no circumstances do we comply with or process official tax receipts or invoices for real businesses.

6. Content & License

You retain the rights to the mock content, logo graphics, and placeholder photos you upload. By uploading content to the showcase, you grant the developer a non-exclusive license to display and resize the assets solely for the purpose of demonstrating the application's functionality. You must not upload copyrighted or inappropriate material.

7. Showcase Status & Data Reset

Digimenu is a developer portfolio project. The codebase and database are subject to change, debugging, and complete wipes without notice. There is no guarantee of continuous uptime, data persistence, or backup preservation. The service is provided entirely "as is" and "as available".

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer of this application is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use of, or inability to use, this application, including data deletion, account loss, or simulated transaction records.

9. Governing Law

These terms and any issues arising out of the use of this showcase shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflicts of law principles.
